The Time It Takes For Time To Tick

About

Between 2 Studios presents ‘The Time It Takes For Time To Tick’, a contemporary dance performance by dance artist and choreographer, Audrey Chua. The Time It Takes for Time to Tick is a piece about the process of time as a paradox of the self. Conceived through the notion about wanting and yearning for something so much that it can only be achieved with time, what happens when reality catches and doesn’t return the expectation we sought? Through movement, the work ultimately reflects on how time shapes our relationship with ambition, self-identity, and expectation, asking: when will our time come, and how do we continue to carve a path and pursue what we desire while living within the uncertainty of the in-between?
